MASTER CYLINDER REASSEMBLY AND
INSTALLATION
Reassemble and install the master cylinder in the reverse order
of removal and disassembly. Pay attention to the following
points:
#
* Clean the master cylinder components with new
brake fluid before reassembly. Never reuse cleaning
solvents or gasoline to clean them.
* Do not wipe the brake fluid off after cleaning the
components with a rag.
* When cleaning the components, use the specified
brake fluid. Never use different types of fluid or
cleaning solvents such as gasoline, kerosine, etc.
* Apply brake fluid to the master cylinder bore and all
of the master cylinder components before reassem-
bly.
' Specification and classification: DOT 4
• Install the piston/cup set as shown.
• When installing the front brake switch 1, align the projection
A on the front brake switch 1 with the hole B in the master
cylinder.
• Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A" to the piston 2 and
brake lever pivot 3.
