• Install the camshaft bearing to the cylinder head with the spe-
cial tool.

The removed bearing must be replaced with a new
one.
CAM SPROCKET INSPECTION
Check the cam sprocket teeth for wear or damage. If any
defects are found, replace the cam sprocket and cam chain as a
set.
CAM CHAIN TENSIONER INSPECTION
Check the cam chain tensioner for wear or damage. If any
defects are found, replace the cam chain tensioner with a new
one.
REASSEMBLY
• Install the valve spring seat 1.
• Apply a small quantity of engine oil to the valve stem seal 2,
and press-fit it into position.

The removed valve stem seal must be replaced with a
new one.
• Insert the valves, with its stems coated with MOLYBDENUM
OIL SOLUTION all around and along the full stem length with-
out any break.
Similarly oil the lip of the stem seal.

When inserting each valve, take care not to damage
the lip of the stem seal.
