3-9 ENGINE
• Tighten the muffler mounting bolts to the specified torque.
" Muffler mounting bolt: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m)
• Tighten the muffler connecting bolt to the specified torque.
" Muffler connecting bolt: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m)
• Tighten the footrest mounting bolts to the specified torque.
" Footrest mounting bolt: 14.5 N·m (1.45 kgf-m)
• After installing the engine, properly route the wire harness,
cables, and hoses. Refer to the wire and cable routing sec-
tions. ($7-13)
• Refer to the following sections to adjust the respective items
to specification.
* ENGINE OIL ($2-11)
* THROTTLE CABLE PLAY ($2-13)
* ENGINE IDLE SPEED ($2-13)
* REAR BRAKE ADJUSTMENT ($2-16)
• Check for leakage of the engine oil.
