Side-stand relay
• Remove the frame head cover. (#5-6)
• Remove the side-stand relay.
First, check the insulation between A and B terminals with
tester. Then, apply 12 V to C and D terminals, + to C and -
to D, and check the continuity between A and B terminals.
If there is no continuity, replace the side-stand relay with a new
one.
$ 09900-25008: Multi-circuit tester set
* Tester knob indication: Continuity test ())
Side-stand diode
• Remove the front handlebar cover. (#5-4)
• Remove the side-stand diode.
Measure the voltage between A and B terminals using the
multi-circuit tester as indicated in the table below.

✽ More than 1.4 V (tester's battery voltage)
NOTE:
If the tester reads under 1.4 V when the tester probes are not
connected, replace the battery of multi circuit tester.
