INSPECTION
Throttle valve
Visually inspect the throttle valve for any damage or clogging,
replace it with a new one if necessary.
ISC valve
• Remove the O-ring 1.
• Visually inspect the ISC valve for wear, damage or carbon
deposit, replace it with a new one if necessary.
NOTE:
The ISC valve can be checked without removing it. (#8-71)
If the resistance is not within the standard range, replace the
ISC valve with a new one.
REASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
Reassembly and installation is in the reverse order of removal
and disassembly. Pay attention to the following points:
• Install the ISC valve 1 and tighten its screws to the specified
torque.
+ ISC valve screw: 2 N·m (0.2 kgf-m)
• Install the O-ring 2.

Replace the O-ring with a new one.
• Install the throttle body and tighten its bolts to the specified
torque.
+ Throttle body bolt: 9 N·m (0.9 kgf-m)
