OIL SUMP FILTER
• Clean the oil sump filter with compressed air.
• Apply engine oil lightly to the gasket 1.
• Install the gasket 1 to the oil sump filter cap 2.
• Install the oil sump filter 3.

The removed gasket must be replaced with a new one
to prevent oil leakage.
#
* The lip A of the oil sump filter should be positioned
downward.
* The thinner side B of the oil sump filter should be
positioned inside.
• Install the oil sump filter cap 3.
• Tighten the oil sump filter cap bolts to the specified torque.
" Oil sump filter cap bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m)
