SWINGARM PIVOT SHAFT
Measure the swingarm pivot shaft runout using the dial gauge.
If the runout exceeds the service limit, replace the swingarm
pivot shaft with a new one.
% Swingarm pivot shaft runout
Service limit: 0.6 mm
& 09900-20607: Dial gauge
09900-20701: Magnetic stand
09900-21304: V-block
SWINGARM PIVOT BUSH
• Inspect the swingarm pivot bush for wear or damage. If any
defects are found, replace swingarm pivot bush with a new
one.
DRIVE CHAIN BUFFER
Inspect the chain buffer for wear or damage. If any defects are
found, replace the drive chain buffer with a new one.
PILLION FOOTREST BRACKET
Inspect the pillion footrest bracket for damage.
If any defects are found, replace the pillion footrest bracket with
a new one.
MUFFLER MOUNTING BUSH
Inspect the muffler mounting bush for damage. If any defects
are found, replace the muffler mounting bush with a new one.
