Reassembly; Installation - Suzuki FL125S Service Manual

REASSEMBLY

Reassemble and install the steering in the reverse order of
removal and disassembly. Pay attention to the following points:
• Press fit the upper and lower bearing outer races with the
special tool.
& 09941-34513: Steering race installer
• Press fit the lower bearing inner race 1 with the special tools.
& 09913-70210: Bearing installer set
09940-51710: Bearing installer
• Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A" to the upper and lower
bearing outer races.
• Install the steel balls.
* 99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"

INSTALLATION

• Install the dust cover 1.
• Tighten the steering stem nut 2 to the specified torque using
the special tool.
& 09910-60611: Universal clamp wrench
" Steering stem nut: 80 N·m (8.0 kgf-m)
Upper 22 pcs.
Lower 27 pcs.
