DAMPER ROD
• Install the gasket 1 and damper rod bolt 2.
• Tighten the damper rod bolt 2 to the specified torque.
" Damper rod bolt: 20 N·m (2.0 kgf-m)

The removed gasket must be replaced with a new one
to prevent front fork oil leakage.
FORK OIL
• Pour specified fork oil into the outer tube.
% Front fork oil capacity (each leg): 51 ml
0 99000-99001-SS8: SUZUKI FORK OIL SS-08
• Hold the front fork leg in a vertical position and adjust the fork
oil level with the special tool.
NOTE:
When adjusting the oil level, remove the fork spring and com-
press the inner tube fully.
% Front fork oil level (without spring): 107 mm
& 09943-74111: Fork oil level gauge
• Fit the O-ring 1 to the front fork cap and apply front fork oil.

The removed O-ring must be replaced with a new one.

• Install the front fork spring 2, front fork cap 3 and stopper
ring 4.
NOTE:
Install the front fork cap 3 and stopper ring 4 in the inner tube
5 while pushing them against the front fork spring 2 .

The removed O-ring must be replaced with a new one
to prevent oilkage.
