MAINTENANCE AND TUNE-UP
PROCEDURES
This section describes the servicing procedures for each Peri-
odic Maintenance item which differ from those of the FL125S/
SD.
For details other than the following items, refer to the FL125S/
SD Service Manual.

FUEL LINE

Inspect every 4 000 km (20 months).
Inspect the fuel hoses for damage and fuel leakage. If any
defects are found, replace the fuel hose with a new one.

THROTTLE CABLE PLAY

Inspect initially at 1 000 km (5 months) and every 4 000
km (20 months) thereafter.
Adjust the throttle cable play A as follows.
• Loosen the lock-nut 2 of the throttle pulling cable 1.
• Turn the adjuster 3 in or out until the throttle cable play A
should be 2.0 – 4.0 mm at the throttle grip.
• Tighten the lock-nut 2 while holding the adjuster 3.
! Throttle cable play A: 2.0 – 4.0 mm

After the adjustment is completed, check that handle-
bars movement does not raise the engine idle speed
and that the throttle grip returns smoothly and auto-
matically.
