Master Cylinder Reassembly And Installation - Suzuki TU250X Service Manual

MASTER CYLINDER REASSEMBLY AND
INSTALLATION
Reassemble and install the master cylinder in the reverse order
of removal and disassembly. Pay attention to the following
points:

* Clean the master cylinder components with fresh
brake fluid before reassembly. Never use cleaning
solvent or gasoline to clean them.
* Do not wipe the components with a rag.
* Apply brake fluid to the cylinder bore and all the
component to be inserted into the bore.
 Specification and classification: DOT 4
• Install the following parts into the master cylinder.
1 Spring
2 Primary cup
3 Piston
4 Secondary cup
5 Snap ring
6 Dust boot
• When installing the brake light switch, align the projection A
on switch with the hole B of master cylinder.
• Apply grease to the brake lever pivot bolt.
• Apply grease to the contacting surfaces between piston and
brake lever.
