Take care to avoid subjecting the height adjustment screws to excessive shock or force.
(3) Pull the rear rails from inside the scanner unit to detach them.
(4) Detach the scanner unit from the stand.
(5) Remove the four silver M4L8 binding head screws on the bottom section of the scanner unit.
When the screws have been removed, the image sensor unit may drop out and sustain damage, depending on the
angle at which the scanner unit is tilted. Take care to keep it from falling.
(6) To prevent damage to the scanner unit, open the side plate slightly and lift the image sensor unit one side
at a time to detach.
The image sensor unit can be removed more easily if the glass base unit is detached first (see next page).
