(7) Note down the X coordinates of the undesired lines on the image scanned.
(8) Eject the undesired color line removal check paper. Clean the scanner glass and place the calibration
sheet on the scanner.
(9) Identify the sensor number corresponding to the undesired line positions using the X coordinates and
perform individual shading for that particular sensor.
(10) Select "Shading" on the screen, click the appropriate sensor number, and then select "Run".
(11) Once shading is finished, replace the calibration sheet with the undesired color line removal check
paper and check that the undesired lines have disappeared. If they are no longer present, remove the
undesired lines for the other sensors in the same way. The process is complete once the undesired lines
for all sensors have been removed.
(12) If undesired lines are still present, repeat the process from step (6).
(13) Replace with the gray paper and adjust undesired line removal in the same way.
If undesired white lines persist at the same positions even after repeating the undesired line removal procedure
several times, it is possible that the glass is scratched or there is dirt inside the sensor unit (e.g., Selfoc lens upper
section). Check accordingly.
