Instrument Protection with PIN
•
The instrument can be protected by a Personal Identification Number.
•
If the PIN protection is activated, the instrument will always prompt for a PIN code entry
after starting up and before TPS1200 Main Menu comes up.
•
If a wrong PIN has been typed in five times, a Personal UnblocKing code is required.
•
Refer to "18.6 Start Up & Power Down" for information on activating PIN protection.
•
This chapter explains the workflow of entering PIN and PUK.
•
TPS1200 Enter Security PIN Code is automatically accessed during starting up the
instrument when <Use PIN: Yes> in CONFIGURE Start Up & Power Down, PIN Code
page and a PIN has been defined before. Refer to "18.6 Start Up & Power Down".
•
TPS1200 Enter Security PUK Code is automatically accessed during starting up the
receiver when a wrong PIN code has been typed in five times.
