Cause
An error occurred in the communication
of USB.
An error occurred during the access to
the printing condition data.
An excessive load was applied to the X
motor.
An excessive load was applied to the Y
motor.
An error due to an excessive current of
the X motor was detected.
An error due to an excessive current of
the Y motor was detected.
Error in the take-up tension bar.
• The tension bar origin could not be
found.
• No change could be seen in the ten-
sion bar angle.
A problem has occurred in the take-up
tension bar.
• The tension bar control position has
deviated from the lowest point for a
certain period.
Limit position of the take-up tension bar
has been detected.
• The tension bar control position has
deviated from the highest point for a
certain period.
Roller sensor abnormality
• The roller sensor cannot be correctly
read.
The media jam occurs.
An error occurred in the control position.
Y-origin could not be detected.
Abnormal linear scale.
The media width could not be correctly
read.
The media is set outside the proper
area.
Chapter5 Troubleshooting
Solution
• Turn off the main power to the machine and
turn it on after a while.
• If the same error message appears again,
contact your local distributor to call for ser-
vice.

• Make sure that the media can be wound
using the manual SW. Also, make sure that
the tension bar rises.
If it does not rise, adjust the counterweight.
