Maintenance The machine should be cleaned periodically depending on the usage frequency to maintain accuracy and ensure long-term use. Read the maintenance precautions thoroughly before maintaining this product.
1. Maintenance Precautions 1. Maintenance Precautions • This machine includes parts that must be replaced periodically. We therefore recommend taking out a maintenance contract. Clean this machine and replace consumable items to prevent quality defects and accidents. • Clean periodically. Debris and dust will accumulate on electrical components when this machine is used for extended periods.

Media Cutter Cleaning Continuing to use a dirty media cutter may cause dust to collect on the head nozzle surface or the cutter blade to grow dull.

4. Consumable Item Replacement Open the maintenance covers. Remove the side screw, and detach the media holder stopper. Remove the media holder. Remove the sliders from the media holder. • Be careful to avoid misplacing the sliders.

4. Consumable Item Replacement Media end face guide film replacement (TS) Replace the media end face guide film if it is creased or worn. Turn the knob screw and open the end face guide cover. Rotate the end face guides to remove them. Remove the media end face guide film from the media end faceguide.

Ink supply unit ink absorber replacement We recommend regularly replacing the ink absorber every time when replacing the Ink pack to prevent dirt on the pedestal of the ink supply unit.
