2.1.2. Motor Supply Connections

N O T E : This product requires two power supply connections. The Motor Supply and Control Supply
must both be connected for proper operation.
Motor power is applied to the Ensemble HPe 150/200 Motor Supply connector (refer to
locations).
External fuses or a circuit breaker (60 A maximum, time delay type) are required for the AC1,AC2, and AC3
inputs.
The recommended wire size is 8.34 mm 2 (#8 AWG). The wire must be properly matched to the fuses or
circuit breakers and must be sized to meet local electrical safety codes.
Power for the cooling fan is supplied through the motor supply connection. The fan connects between the
AC1 and AC2 inputs and uses approximately 20W of power.
W A R N I N G : Do not operate the Ensemble HPe 150/200 without the safety ground connection
in place.
W A R N I N G : Do not operate the Ensemble HPe 150/200 without proper branch protection.
