Troubleshooting and Diagnostic Information

The following table lists diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures and references that can help
you resolve server issues.
Description
Diagnostic information for the x86 servers, including
procedures for performing runtime and firmware-based
tests, using Oracle ILOM, and running U-Boot and
Pc-Check to exercise the system and isolate subtle or
intermittent hardware-related problems.
Administrative information for the Oracle Sun Server
X-4 series servers, including information about how
to use Oracle System Assistant and the Oracle ILOM
system event log (SEL) to identify the source of a
problem.
Information about the DIMM and processor test circuit.
A listing of the power-on self test (POST) checkpoint
code sequence.
