    ■ Oracle System Assistant Overview Oracle System Assistant allows you to set up and manage the Sun Blade X4-2B. The Oracle System Assistant application is a task-based server provisioning tool that allows you to perform initial server setup and maintenance for Oracle x86 servers. Using Oracle System Assistant, you can install a supported Oracle Solaris, Oracle VM, Linux, or Windows operating system, update your server to the latest software release, and configure server hardware.

It is based on the Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) specification. The Sun Blade X4-2B supports UEFI BIOS, which controls the system from power-on until an operating system is booted.
