D Setting the GPS alarm
A GPS alarm can sound when a target position comes
into the alarm area.
This function can be set to the caller station, all GPS
Memory channels, a specified Memory group or a
specified Memory channel.
• Alarm area (Group) — Setting plural stations
When all channels or group is selected:

• If you wish to set the alarm to a GPS Memory group,
select one between A to Z or "(No Group)."
u Push [MENU]
to exit the Menu screen.
• When either one of the stations in a specified group en-
ters its set range, the beep sounds three times.
• When the GPS alarm beeps, "GPS ALARM" pops up on
the screen and then the "S" icon blinks.
• To cancel the GPS alarm, repeat step t and select
"OFF."
NOTE: When "Group" is selected in step t, and a tar-
get position enters in the active alarm range specified
in "Alarm area (Group)" of the Menu screen, the GPS
alarm sounds. (p. 16-39)
