1.18 ANTI-CONDENSATION HEATER (SCANNER)

1.18.1 INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Rear cover (see "Rear Cover" in the "Replacement and Adjustment" section)
2. Open the ARDF or platen cover.
3. Glass cover [A] ( x 4)
4. ARDF exposure glass [B]
5. Rear scale [C] ( x 3)
6. Exposure glass with left
scale [D]
7. Move the scanner carriage
to the right side by rotating
the scanner motor [E].
8. Install the heater [F] in the
scanner unit ( x 1, hook)
9. Put the connector [G]
through the cutout.
10. Connect it to the connector
[H] (blue and red cords) in
the frame of the machine.
11. Reassemble the machine.
