1.20.4 FILE FORMAT CONVERTER

Unplug the main machine power cord before you do the following
procedure.
The fax unit (B786) must be installed before installing this unit. This is because the mother
board that comes with the fax unit is necessary to connect the file format converter inside
the machine.
1. Remove the slot cover [A] from I/F card slot C (
2. Install the file format converter [B] into I/F card slot C and then fasten it with
screws.
