7. Turn off the main power switch and disconnect the power cord of the copier.
Recovery procedure for SC285 and no replacement preparation of
laser optics housing unit
If SC285 occurs or you did not do the procedure in 'Before removing the old laser optics
housing' before removing the old laser optics housing unit, you must do the following.
1. Turn off the main power switch and disconnect the power cord of the copier.
2. Remove the left cover and harness cover bracket (see the following "Removing the old
laser optics housing unit")
3. Disconnect the harness [A] of the skew correction motor.
4. Do steps 1 to 7 of "Before removing the old laser optics housing unit".
5. Connect the harness [A] and reinstall the harness bracket and left cover.
6. Plug in and turn on the main power switch.
