Setup

You can setup the ntal settng for each functon.
Initial Settings
In ths dalog, you can set the ntal settng of the "Document download" and "Tem-
porary stored document hold tme".

Open the "Admn Tools" screen. (See page 4-4.)

Clck [Intal Settngs].
The �Initial �ettings�� dialog �ill appear.

Adjust the settngs and select [Save] to regster them.

Descrptons
• "Fle Format"
Select ether "PDF" or "TIFF" as the file format for
downloadng files.
• "Downloaded Fle"
Ths selects whether or not to delete the file from
the dsk after t has been downloaded. To keep the
file, select "Do not delete from dsk"; to delete, select
"Delete from dsk".
Select the preservaton perod of a temporary stored
document from 1 to 30 days. You can see the lst of tem-
porary stored document by clckng [Temporary Storage]
on the "Optons" tab.
NOTE
• The date on whch the settng s made s not ncluded
n the set number of days. For example, f the preser-
vaton perod s set to 1 day, the document s pre-
served untl the next day and at the start of the day
after next, the document wll be deleted.
The default settng s 1 day.
Saves the current settngs and closes the dalog.
Closes "Intal Settngs" dalog.
