Descrptons
Enter the NetBIOS name.
• A NetBIOS name can contan up to 15 alphanumerc
characters and the "–" symbol wth no blank spaces.
• The NetBIOS name must be unque on the network.
Enter the name of the workgroup to whch your
machne belongs.
If there s not a workgroup on your network, create a
workgroup n Wndows. A doman name cannot be used
as a workgroup name.
• If there s not a workgroup on your network, create a
new workgroup by typng a new name that contans
up to 15 characters. The name cannot nclude symbols
and blank spaces. The name can nclude alphanu-
merc and the followng symbols: ! @ # $ % ^ & ( ) – _ `
{ } . ~
Consult wth your network admnstrator before cre-
atng a new workgroup.
• A doman name cannot be used as a workgroup name.
Shows the Mac Address.
If a DHCP server s nstalled on your network, select
"ON".
After rebootng the machne, an IP address and Sub-
net Mask wll be automatcally assgned by the DHCP
server. Accordng to the DHCP server settng, a prmary
gateway address and prmary DNS server address may
be assgned as well.
If your network s not usng DHCP, select "OFF".
IMPORTANT
• Once the DHCP server has assgned the IP address
to your machne, that IP address MUST be reserved
wthn the specfic DHCP scope. Falure to do so could
result n faled operaton when the IP address lease
expres.
• After an IP address s assgned to your machne,
please turn the DHCP settng to "OFF".
Enter the IP address of your machne.
Enter the IP address for the subnet mask.
Enter the IP address of the gateway.
Enter the IP address of the DNS server.
Enter the DNS suffix.
Enter the IP address of the WINS server.
Select the HTTP port number for connectng the Office-
Drector.
Normally, set to "80".
