Repeat steps 1 through 2 n "Regsterng or edtng LDAP server settng" on
page 4-42.

Clck [Parameter Settngs].
The �Para�eter �ettings�� dialog �ill appear.

Enter an attrbute and clck [Save].
NOTE
• You can regster up to two attrbutes for each search object.
When two attrbutes have been regstered, the attrbute 1 (ex. "cn") s used for
search filterng. And then, the machne wll retreve the records that nclude the
regstered attrbutes you set.
• For example, when the LDAP parameters are set as follows, and you entered a
name for search object, the machne first requests the LDAP server to search
the record that ncludes "cn=(text you've entered)". Then, the machne retreves
the parameters based on all the regstered attrbutes (cn, commonname, mal,
facsmletelephonenumber, telephonenumber, o, ou) from the searched records.
