For optimum router performance, verify the condition of the FPCs. The router can have
up to eight FPCs mounted vertically in the FPC card cage at the front of the chassis.
On a regular basis:
Check the LCD on the craft interface and the LEDs on the craft interface directly above
each FPC slot. During normal operation:

LED lights steadily.

During normal operation, the green
lights steadily when the FPC is online and functioning normally. The green
blinks during startup.
