User Parameters

The User Parameters allow you to customize
various settings to match your needs.
Note
Make sure you install options and per-
form all other operations before switch-
ing the parameter settings on and off.
Items selected as factory default
settings are marked with an aster-
isk ( * ) in the tables.
User Parameters are divided into
switches, and each switch is divid-
ed into eight bits. The right most bit
is bit 0 and the left most bit is bit 7.
Changing User Parameters
and Printing a List

Make sure that the machine is in
the standby mode.

Press the {User Tools} key.

Press the 0 or 1 key to select "4

Press the {OK} key.

Press {2}{2}{2}{2}, and then
press the {OK} key.

Press 0 or 1 to display "10. User
Parameters".

For a list of the switches and set-
tings, see P.96 "User Parameter
List".
Use the User Parameters table to
look up the number of the switch
that you want to change, and then
press the 0 or 1 key to display the
number of the switch (Switch nn).
The switch bits are numbered 7~0.
To change a setting, press the cor-
responding number key to toggle
the setting between "0" and "1"

For example, if you want to change
the setting at bit 7, press the 7 num-
ber key to toggle the setting be-
tween "1" and "0".

When you are finished making
adjustments, press the {OK} key.
