If an Indicator Lights on the Operation
Panel
Whenever you see the file receive in-
dicator or the alarm indicator light,
always read the document in the con-
trol panel display.
The Receive File indicator is lit:
You have received a fax document
which is now stored in the ma-
chine. See Chapter 4, "Printing
Documents That Have Been Re-
ceived into Memory (Substitute
Reception)"in the Advanced Fea-
tures manual.
The Communicating indicator is lit.
You are sending or receiving a fax.
See P.5 "Operation Panel".
The Alarm indicator flashes.
An error has occurred. Read the
message in the display and take
appropriate action. See P.5 "Opera-
tion Panel".
