Engine Removal

1. Park the machine on a level surface and set the parking brake. Stop the
engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the key.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative battery cable first, then
the positive cable from the battery.
3. Drain the engine oil.
4. Using pliers, slide the hose clamp away from the fuel filter connection to the
fuel hose. Remove the fuel hose from the fuel filter. Clamp the fuel hose to
prevent access fuel drainage.
Note: May need a drain pan for access fluid.

5. Remove the fuel tank vent hose from the fuel tank vent orifice.
