Problem
The clutch does not engage

Possible Cause
There is a low voltage supply at the
clutch.
The coil is damaged.
There is inadequate current supply.
The rotor/armature air gap is too large.
The blade control switch (PTO) is faulty.

Corrective Action
Check the coil resistance, battery
charge, charging system, and wiring
connections and replace parts if
necessary.
Replace the clutch.
Repair or replace the clutch lead wire or
electrical system. Clean the connector
contacts.
Replace the clutch.
Replace the blade control switch (PTO).
