1. Park the machine on a level surface and set the parking brake. Stop the
engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the key.
2. Disconnect the clutch wire connector.
3. Set the multi-meter to measure resistance (OHM setting).
4. Connect one multi-meter lead to the engine, chassis or battery ground.
Connect the other multi-meter lead to each of the clutch connector terminals.
5. The 2 clutch connector terminals should never have continuity to ground
and should OPEN at all times.
6. If continuity is found between the PTO connector and ground, the PTO clutch
and the PTO switch must be replaced.
