The following options can be selected for this commissioning step:
● 0 – Reset P80, P81
Parameters P80 and 81 are set to 0, making them inoperative.
● 1 – Basic Calibration
It is essential to perform the basic calibration. Swaying motions are initiated at two different
heights. From the sway measurements, the gain and offset are determined for converting
the transmitted hoisting height to an effective pendulum length with correct sign and value.
The result is written in the P60 and P61 parameters.
This automatic commissioning step was successful when the swaying duration indicated in
the tool is roughly identical in each cycle. If this is not the case, you can perform the step
manually with the tool on the "Calibrate hoisting height" tab.
The hoisting height taken from the interface is used to control and position the hoist rather
than the calibrated hoisting height. This value must increase as the height of the load
suspension device above the ground increases.
● 2 – Digital hoist correction
This step is optional. Shifts in the center of gravity that result from the use of different load
suspension devices are compensated with the digital "effective pendulum length
correction." Parameter P80 is written.
● 3 – Analog hoist correction
Note
Before performing step 3, the weight of the load suspension device must be determined and
stored in parameter P82.
This step is optional. With the analog "effective pendulum length correction," shifts in the
center of gravity that result from the load weight can be taken into account. Parameter P81
is written.
Note
In most cases it is sufficient to perform the basic calibration. After being performed
successfully, this commissioning step is displayed in green, although the digital and the
analog "effective pendulum length correction" have not yet been performed. These steps
are optional.
Commissioning step 3 (does not apply to this version and hidden)
Simulating errors (commissioning step 4)
All error bits of the sway control system can be simulated in this step in order to check the error
evaluation in the PLC.
You will find the relevant bits in the error list in Chapter Error messages (Page 373).
Note
Simulated errors are not entered in the error history.
