6.10 Blocked regions
Note
Overshooting the trolley and load around the target position cannot always be avoided. To
prevent collisions in and at the blocked regions during travel in semi-automatic mode, a suitable
safety clearance must be set for the trolley (P33).
To determine the maximum overshoot of the load, travel in semi-automatic mode with the
longest pendulum length must be performed after the sway control system has been optimized.
Parameter P33 must be set greater than this value.
In order to take account of the measuring inaccuracies of the bay scanner or other 2D/3D profile
scanners, safety clearances P33 and P72 (for SAM) as well as P29 and P78 (for MAN) must be
increased accordingly.
Note
Parameters P106 and P108 must be set to values greater than or equal to 1000 mm. Otherwise,
a MODEL MODE will be activated. If MODEL MODE is active, the text "MODELLMODUS"
(model mode) is displayed in the CeCOMM overview monitor (accessible via the spacebar).
This mode is only for internal development purposes and must not be used on the crane. (The
German text "MODELLMODUS" appears even if the user interface language is English.)
Note
The safety clearance P33 is limited internally to 20% of the spreader width.
In other words, even when P33 < 0.2 x P106, the safety clearance is still 0.2 x P106.

6.10.6.1

Spreader constellations

The locking state of the spreader influences the height of the blocked regions and the
immersion point. The spreader constellation is also taken into account.
There are four possible spreader constellations:
● Single-spreader operation
● Double-spreader operation (tandem operation)
● Twin operation
● Combined double-spreader / twin operation
Single-spreader operation
Only one container can be locked and transported.
