Application example:
The crane is in the target position (e.g. on the waterside) and must pick up/set down the
container. To align the container and spreader, movements with "TLS jogging" are required.
When the crane is again in the waterside target position in the next loading/unloading cycle, it
should already automatically be aligned as it was in the last cycle.
Version V2: Move to externally defined skew position and internally stored trim and list positions
See "Version V1"
The skew position for the landside and waterside is transferred to the system from an external
source.
Application example:
A laser system is provided for positioning trucks. It can also measure the angle of rotation of the
parked truck. If a truck is parked at a skew angle, the spreader must rotate to the corresponding
skew angle to pick a container from the truck or place it on the truck.
If there is no skew position available on the waterside, the internally stored skew position can
be activated by means of the "skew_target_ext" control bit.
Version V3: Move to and hold internally stored trim, list and skew positions
See "Version V1"
Note
No distinction is made between the landside and waterside for the trim and list positions.
Application example:
Two containers are picked up on the waterside. Because they have different weights, the crane
driver uses TLS jogging after pickup to realign the spreader. He then starts travel to the landside
with the skew damping and TLS positioning functions activated. The last trim, list and skew
positions adapted on the waterside are retained until the load is set down on the landside.
Version V4: Move to externally defined skew position and hold internally stored trim and list positions
See "Version V3"
Note
The skew position for the landside and waterside is specified by an external source.
Application example:
A combination of versions V2 and V3.
