The following flags are available for the ipconfig command:

/renew
To run the ipconfig command from the operating system
1. Click Start → Programs → Accessories → Command Prompt to display the

3. Press Enter.
4. Type Exit to exit the Command Prompt window.

The ping command

The ping command sends an echo request to a specified host. Use this command to verify
network connectivity to the remote device.

Ping command syntax

The ping command uses the following syntax:
ping [-t] [-a] [-n count] [-l size] [-f] [-i TTL] [-v TOS] [-r count]
[-s count] [[-j host-list] | [-k host-list]] [-w timeout]
