LL.10 Cutter Interlock Loop

The Status Code LL.10
is
displayed when the
logic detects that there is a problem with the
interlock loop circuitry for the Cutter Motor.
The problem may occur i f there is a
malfunction in the connectors A23PIJ2,
A21PIJ1, A2P203, A2P201, or A2P211, or if
there is a short circuit or an open circuit in
the wires of the interlock loop
NOTE: The component locator drawings and
the circuit diagram are on the following
pages.
Initial Actions
Check the following connectors for
damage: A2P201, A2P203 and A2P211
on the LVPSI Driver PWB (A2) and the
Media Transport Connector A2 1 PI J 1
and the Xerographic Module
Connector A23P/ J2 located on the left
side of the copier. Ensure that the
connectors are seated correctly.
Switch off, then switch on the copier.
If the problem perists, perform the
procedure below.

on the LVPSI Driver is lit.

I Set the DMM to measure
+
26 VDC.
Connect the (
+
)
lead to pin 23 of A2PZO3
on the LVPSI Driver PWB (A2). Connect
the
(-)
lead to Pin 3 of A2P211.

26 VDC.

Replace the LVPS 11 Driver PWB
Connect the (
+
) lead to pin 3 of
Connector A2P201.
There is
+
26 VDC
Y N
Go t o FLAG 1 and check for an open
circuit in the wires.
Connect the
(
+
)
lead to pin 1 of
Connector A2P20 1.
There is 26 VDC.
Go to
FLAG 2
and check for an open
circuit in the wires.
Replace the LVPSI Driver PWB.
Replace the LVPSI Driver PWB.
