The problem may occur
i f
there

problem
with the document sensors, mechanical
components, the drive motor, the motor
control circuitry or poor quality documents.

NOTE: The
component locator drawings and
the circuit diagram are on the next four
pages.
Initial Actions
Ensure that the document is In good
condition.
Check that the Upper Document
Handler is positioned correctly.
Check the document path for
obstructions and the top and bottom
platens for damage end for correct
installation.
Check that
the
actuators of the
Document Sensors are not binding or
damaged.
Procedure
Check each Document Sensor to Remove the Upper Document Handler.
ensure that the 0 Rings are
~ositioned correctlv.

Enter the code
[0502]
in order to check the
