OF1 Media Heater RAP
This RAP is used when a fault has in the
Media Heater or the AC circuits that supply
the heater.
NOTE:
The circuit diagram and the
component locator drawings are on the
following pages.
Initial Actions
A
WARNING
Dangerous Voltage.
Ensure that Connectors A2P213 on the
Low Voltage Power Supply (A2) and
HRlPlJ1 on the Media Heater are
correctly installed and fully seated.
Ensure that Fuse F1 on the Low
Voltage Power Supply has continuity.
If not, replace the Fuse F1.
Procedure
Switch on the copier. Wait until the copier
has initialized. Press the
Stop
key twice. The
copier enters the Rest Mode.
Open the Left Side door. Set the DMM t o
read ACH. Connect the (
+
) lead t o HR1P1-1.
Connect the (-) lead t o HR1P1-2.
ACH is present.
Connect the
(
+
)
probe t o A2J213-1 on the
LVPSl Driver PWB (A2). Connect the
(4
probe t o A2J213-3.
ACH is present

Replace the LVPSl Driver PWB (A2).

Go t o FLAG 1 end repair the open circuit.
Replace the Media Heater HR1
