Replace the LVPSI DRIVER
Go t o FLAG
2
and check the
wiring for an open circuit I n the
wires. If there is no open circuit,
replace the Main Drive Motor
Relay (K3).
Enter the code
[lo041
in order t o
energize the Fuser Heat Rod and
increase the Fuser Heat Roll
temperature t o the run temperature.
The message, "1004 FUSER TEMP
TEST TEMP
0
XXX
CELSIUS,
XXX
FAHRENHEIT", Is displayed when the
Heat Roll is at the run temperature.
The Main Drive Motor Relay (K3) is
switched on, when the Fuser Roll
reaches the run temperature.
The voltage at A2 P212 pln 8 of the
LVPSl DRIVER PWB goes LOW when
the Fuser Roll reaches the run
temperature.

Replace the LVPSl DRIVER PWB.
Replace the Main Drive Motor Relay
W3).
Replace the Main Drive Motor

(MOT21).
Check the drive system for binding by
manually rotating the motor shaft.
Rotate the shaft by turning the motor
cooling fan which is attached to the
motor shaft. If the system i s binding,
check the Main Drive System and the
Cleaner Blade Drive Gear for damage.

Developer Drive Gear
Developer Drive Coupling

Auger Drive Gears

Drum Drive Gears
Fuser Drive Belt
Fuser Drive Pulleys

Cleaner Blade Drive Gear
eplace items as required.
Press Power Off (0). Disconnect the Main
Drive Motor connector (M21 PIJ1). Set
the Multimeter t o ohms, DC,
+,
200
ohms.
The motor resistance is approximately
60 ohms as measured between (M21
J1)
pins 1 and
2.
