22.1 IP Service Configuration Commands

The IP service configuration related command includes as follows:


ip default-gateway


ip mask-reply

ip mtu

ip redirects

ip source-route

ip unreachables
22.1.1 ip default-gateway
Use this command to configure the default gateway on the Layer2 switch. Use the no form
of this command to remove the default gateway.

By default, no default gateway is configured.
Global configuration mode.
The packets will be sent to the default gateway if the destination
address is unknown. Use the show ip redirects command to view
the default gateway.
