Use this command to change the value of the robustness variable. Use the no form of this
command to restore it to the default value.

Use this command to set the version number of IGMP to be used on the interface. Use the
no form of this command to restore it to the default value.

Parameter Description
number The value of robustness variable ranging 2 to 7.
The default value is 2.
Interface configuration mode.
The following example sets the value of robustness variable to 3:

DES-7210(config)# interface ethernet 0
DES-7210(config-if)# ip igmp robustness-variable 3
ip igmp version {1 | 2 | 3}
