Parameters
ipv6-address: IPv6 address of a peer.
Description
Use peer capability-advertise suppress-4-byte-as to enable 4-byte AS number suppression.
Use undo peer capability-advertise suppress-4-byte-as to disable the function.
By default, the 4-byte AS number suppression function is disabled.
The device supports 4-byte AS numbers and uses 4-byte AS numbers by default. If the peer devices
support only 2-byte AS numbers, you must enable the 4-byte AS number suppression function on
the device.
If the peer device supports 4-byte AS numbers, do not enable the suppression function; otherwise,
the BGP peer relationship cannot be established.
Examples

Parameters
ipv6-group-name: Name of a peer group, a string of 1 to 47 characters.
ipv6-address: IPv6 address of a peer.
interface-type interface-number: Specifies an interface by its type and number.
Description
Use peer connect-interface to specify the source interface for establishing TCP connections to an
IPv6 BGP peer or peer group.
Use undo peer connect-interface to restore the default.
By default, BGP uses the outbound interface of the best route to the IPv6 BGP peer/peer group as
the source interface for establishing a TCP connection.
