17. APPLICATION OF FUNCTIONS
17.2.6 If an alarm occurs
When an error occurs during operation, the corresponding alarm or warning is displayed. For the servo
amplifier status at occurrence or an alarm, refer to section 4.5.10 of "MR-D30 Instruction Manual".
When an alarm or warning has occurred, refer to section 7.2.7 and take the appropriate action. After a cause
of the alarm has been removed, the alarm can be deactivated in any of the following methods.
Error reset
Communication reset
Power OFF → ON
17.2.7 Troubleshooting
The following table lists the alarms and warnings to be added by using the functional safety unit.
When an alarm or warning has occurred, refer to the "MELSERVO-J4 Servo Amplifier Instruction Manual
(Troubleshooting)" and take appropriate actions. When an alarm occurs, ALM (Malfunction) will turn off.
After the alarm cause has been removed, the alarm can be deactivated in any of the methods marked with ○
in the alarm reset column of the following table. For the procedures of resetting alarms, refer to section
17.2.6. Warnings are automatically canceled after the cause of occurrence is removed.
