(a) Battery installation and removal procedure
1) Installation procedure
a) For the servo amplifier with a battery holder on the bottom
b) For the servo amplifier with a battery holder on the front
POINT
For the servo amplifier with a battery holder on the bottom, it is not possible to
wire for the earth with the battery installed. Insert the battery after executing the
earth wiring of the servo amplifier.
Install a battery, and insert the
plug into CN4.
Install a battery, and route the battery
cable along the right side of the
battery.
Install a battery, and connect the plug to
the CN4 connector.

When connecting the encoder
cable to CN2 or CN2L
connector, prevent the battery
cable from being pinched.
