Logging in
You can log in to SmartNA-X from a web browser or from a command line over a network link to the
Management/Network port. Direct (local) access is also possible via the Console/Serial port when network access is
not available.
To login to the web UI or CLI, you will need:
• network access to the Management/Network port
if connecting locally
• a SmartNA-X user name and password. Admin credentials are needed to perform administrator tasks.

• a modern web browser (Internet Explorer 8.0+, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)
• Java™ 1.5 (or later) browser plugin
shows the default usernames and passwords set on all new SmartNA-X systems.
