Configuring L2 Multicast Features
Purpose
Specify the MVR mode of operation.
Add an MVR membership group.
mcast-address
group
—Specifies the number of contiguous groups
Enter interface configuration mode for the specified port.
interface
The
number, for example tengigabitethernet 1/0/3.
You can also specify a range of ports with the interface
range command, for example, interface range
tengigabitethernet 1/0/8-12 configures interfaces 8, 9, 10,
11, and 12.
Enable MVR on the port.
Enable MVR immediate leave mode on the port.
Specify the MVR port type.
group
Allow the port to participate in the specified MVR group.
vlan-id
The
VLAN.
Exit to Privileged EXEC mode.
View the DHCP snooping global and per port
configuration.
View the entries in the DHCP snooping bindings database.

View information about the administrative mode of MVR.
View information about MVR groups and their members.
View information about the MVR configuration for a
specific port.
View information about IGMP traffic in the MVR table.
