line of item description. This description will be

screen only and on the inventory inquiry.

description is lengthy or complicated or to suggest
related items to be purchased.
3. This works on selected POS print programs only
(11" plain paper cash/charge quotes and orders).

entering a purchase order or receipt.
1. Economic Order Quantity. This is calculated
using a mathematical formula which balances the
cost of placing an order against the cost of
carrying the inventory in stock. When you reach
the re-order point, this is the optimum order
quantity. It is used in suggested orders and on
the Open to Buy reports as ordering options.
2. It is calculated during Calculate Min/Max/EOQ
and written here automatically. It is usually not
used until the inventory system has been running
6 months to a year.
3. This field comes from IM2.D, Inventory Store
Data.
Not currently used as a season code. Can be used
as a miscellaneous code to print reports using the
select optional field feature.
