This command enables syslog logging . The

logging syslog source-interface

This command configures the syslog source-interface (source IP address) for syslog server configuration . The
selected source-interface IP address is used for filling the IP header of management protocol packets . This allows
security devices (firewalls) to identify the source packets coming from the specific switch . If a source-interface is
not specified, the primary IP address of the originating (outbound) interface is used as the source address .

Description
VLAN or port-based routing interface.
Configures the loopback interface to use as the source IP address. The range of the loopback ID is 0 to 7.
Configures the tunnel interface to use as the source IP address. The range of the tunnel ID is 0 to 7.
Configures the VLAN interface to use as the source IP address. The range of the VLAN ID is 1 to 4093.
Description
Port on the collector/relay to which syslog messages are sent.
Shows the configured syslog source-interface (source IP address).
Shows whether CLI Command logging is enabled.
Shows whether console logging is enabled.
parameter is an integer with a range of 1-65535 .
