Chapter 16: Internal Effects

This chapter describes the internal effects of the PRO2. Initially, it explains how to use
the PRO2 Control Centre to operate the effects and then details all of their available
control functions and their use.

Overview of the internal effects

The Effects screen manages up to six user-assignable effects devices, which are a
'bundle' of onboard creative audio effects that provide onboard facilities where outboard
effects units would have traditionally been required. The effects are displayed on the
screen in a 'virtual' eight-unit rack.
Typical Effects screen
All of the points in the control centre's signal flow where outboard effects can be
inserted, such as auxes and returns or insert points on input channels, audio
subgroups, mix and master buses, can be patched to effects in the internal effects as
well as external world XLRs. The following table shows the available internal effects
and where they can be found in this chapter.
